Panic In The Ring Of Fire
Let me start by saying a big THANK YOU.
As you know we were faced with impossible task of getting "Panic In The Ring Of Fire" to air in less than a week and to try and make it look good. We did both and in no small part to your amazing footage.
You have an incredible eye for composition and sequence building. As an editor, my job was made easy by the fact I did not have to struggle to make sequences work - they were all in the footage just waiting to be oput together. Somehow, with only 11x 30 min tapes, we made a 1 hr documentary that looked beautiful.
Every frame was a masterpiece and not only did it look wonderful, it sounded incredible.
Im sure the task we just undertook would not have been possible if it had not been for your efforts. You truly captured the sights and sounds of this unstable part of the world and have left TV audiences awe struck with its beauty and terror.
