Suncraft Fast Patrol Craft

Suncraft International Contracting are a Singapore based, dynamic and innovative enterprise with a record of excellence in the design and construction of small and medium sized naval craft for a wide range of defense and law enforcement applications.

The company designs offshore vessels to meet the strictest of standards. They offer speeds in excess of 35 knots, superior maneuverability, shallower draft restriction, increased stability and better handling in adverse water conditions and most significantly, they offer outstanding reliability in the field.

Many of these ships are built in a Malaysian shipyard in Penang Malaysia and Aerial Marine Media have provided the company with specialist offshore photographic services to shoot the Suncraft 38 Meter Fast Patrol Craft for global sales and promotion purposes.

Pilot Captain Sabri flew the Integrated Services EC120 aircraft from Kuala Lumpur to Penang before the helicopter crew and photographer, Laurie K. Gilbert rendezvoused with the Fast Patrol Craft many miles off the northern coastline of Penang.

For more than an hour the helicopter camera team originated about 20 minutes of stable HDV Video footage before switching to photographic stills and then they shot more than 250 dynamic air to ship photographic images. These images were then reduced to a master selection of 25 high resolution images which were Photo Shopped in CS3 and supplied to the Singapore client in Photo DVD format. The final images were published in the global brochure and also on the company website.
