Les Voiles De San Tropez
Les Voiles De San Tropez is one of the world’s most spectactular marine events because it showcases the world’s classic sailing yachts against the sunset vista of the French Riviera town of San Tropez.
Yachtsmen and women travel thousands of miles for the privilege of crewing the oldest and the most beautiful and also the most modern sailboats in the world.

This project is the final of four personal films commissioned by Roy E. Disney as a special project to document the racing success of his sailing yacht Pyewacket, a highly successful, maxi-yacht with a revolutionary canting keel which makes it currently one of the fastest monohulls in the world.

Pyewacket - Maxi Beater
Roy E Disney, of Disney Corp, owns and operates Pyewacket, one of the most successful and revolutionary, maxi sailboats currently racing anywhere in the world. The boat is an 86' Reichel-Pugh designed Maxi Z86 "sled" which was built in New Zealand by Cooksons and it features a hydraulic canting keel which has the ability to tilt the yacht 25* in either direction even before it leaves the dock! The effect of the canting keel is to give Pyewacket race-winning boat speed when she is sailing upwind.
The Pyewacket sailing team competes globally for a wide range of prestigious sailing awards and as part of that commitment,Roy E Disney commissioned a series of four, personal documentaries on the challenges and successes of the 2004 sailing season in Antigua, Cork, Sardinia and San Tropez.

The Year Without A Summer - Tambora
In 1815, Mt Tambora erupted on the Indonesian island of Sumbawa Besar and the largest eruption in recorded history blew between 37 to 100 cubic miles of dust, ashes, and cinders into the atmosphere, generating a veil of volcanic dust that enveloped the globe. The dust cloud was so intense, parts of the Indonesian archipelago experienced total darkeness for three days.

Turkish Stars - A Star Is Born
A unique, multi-award winning film that captures all the in-cockpit drama and excitement of the Turkish Air Force supersonic aerobatic team, the Turk Yildizlari or Turkish Stars. The film was made to celebrate to 90th anniversary of the Turkish Air Force, the second oldest air force in the world.
