Extensive helicopter aerial coverage of the land reclaimation project and supporting infrastructure that is to become the Port Tanjung Pelepas Phase 11 development on the Sungai Pulau River in Johor Baru, Malaysia.

The development is in close proximity to the second link between Singapore and Malaysia and is destined to provide serious competition to the established port operations of Singapore.

The client was responsible for reclaiming the land base to facilitate a deep water, sheltered port and large container ships can dock directly against the wharf with little or no navigational assistance from tugs.

Phase 1 of the Port of Tanjung Pelepas development is already in use by Maersk Sealand and phase 11, which will be used by Evergreen Marine Corporation, is also well advanced.

The land bank adjacent to the new port has been reserved for potential industrial development and there is also considerable housing and social infrastructure close by to support the port's future expansion.
