Grand Banks 41

A two man production team travelled from Grand Banks HQ in Seattle to Singapore and Malaysia to document on stills and video spects of the performance and sales features of the Grand Banks 41 Heritage series motor yacht.

As in the previous shoot, the location chosen for the stills was an area of the South China Sea just off the East coast of Malaysia and a Robinson R44 was chartered from FRAS flying club in Senai with Captain Muthucumar at the controls.

Once the helicopter had located the Grand Banks yacht, the two cameraman operated their stills and video cameras side by side as David Hensell put the boat through its paces underneath the low flying helicopter.

A series of sequences of the boat using its radical joystick control for close quarter manouvering was also shot in One Degree 15 Marina Club.

Both the video material and all the photographic images have been used globally in sales and marketing campaign of the boat.
