Let me start by saying a big "THANK YOU".

As you kwow, we were faced with the impossible task of getting "Panic In The Ring Of Fire" to air in less than a week and to try and make it look good.

we did both and in no small part thanks to your amazing footage.

you have an incredible eye for composition and sequence building. As an editor, my jobwas made easy by the fact that I did not have to make sequences work, they were all there in the footage just waiting to be put together. Somehow, with on 11 tapes we made a 1Hr documentary that looked beautiful. The portrait shots of the villagers were stunning and the scenic shots brought me to tears. Every frame was a masterpiece. Not only did the film look wonderful, it sounded incredible.

Again, in editing I did not have to fight with contiminated audio while building the show. Im sure the tack we just undertook would not have been possible if it had not been for your efforts. You truly captured the sights and sounds of this unstable part of the world and have left the audience awe struck with its beauty and terror.
