A young man and his pretty companion sit in their trendy Honda sports car stuck behind roadworks in yet another traffic jam.

Suddenly, in a moment of confusion, a window of opportunity opens and the car takes advantage and accelerates out of the conjestion onto the open road.

The authorities disapprove, a pursuit helicopter is called in, but once on the open road the car is able to evade its aerial pursuers and escape with the clean power of Caltex by disappearing into a road tunnel.

This commercial, aimed at the Malaysian market, is a direct copy of a commercial orginally shot in New Zealand. Malaysian content law stipulated that it had to be reshot using Malaysian talent and Malaysian backgrounds to qualify for transmission for the local market.

The helicopter was supplied by Mofaz Air in KL, Continental stabiliser mount and 35mm production Arri came from Film Equipment Gallery, Malaysia
