A 16mm corporate film to showcase the helicopter gunship - killer capabilities of the latest generation of Bionix Infantry Fighting Vehicle.

The Bionix is a lightweight but very fast armoured military vehicle designed to transport troops in jungle war scenarios as well as defending itself againt attack from both land and sky.

The vehicle has been fully designed in Singapore for the SAF by Singapore Technologies and its name refers to the modular bolt on laminate armour which can be replaced and upgraded to combat new anti-armour weapons.

The film was designed to show the speed and manouverability of the vehicle as it evaded and eventually neutralised the imminent threat of an enemy helicopter gunship.

It was shot on location in Singapore and aerial sequences were shot using a rotorwing aircraft provided by ST Aerospace Engineering.

Much of the most dramatic battle and firing footage in the film was obtained by mounting the Arri SR3 physically on the hero tank with a Cinesaddle camera mount system.
