BBC Rosario
The M/V BBC Rosario, a multipurpose / heavylift cargo vessel, was booked by Saipem (Portugal) Comercio Maritimo in cooperation with Asia Project Chartering, Singapore to transport modules from Jurong Port in Singapore to the Espoir Ivoiren FPSO operating in the Ivory Coast Espoir oil and gas field south of Abidjan.
The Espoir Ivoiren FPSO is owned by Prosafe on behalf of Canadian Natural Resources (CNR). Additional separation technology equipment in the form of process separation modules were required for the operation in Africa and these were manufactured by Profab Indonesia and Gas Services International (GSI) Singapore.
The offshore marine aerial images were taken as the ship entered the Malacca Straits and headed north up the channel between Malaysia and Indonesia.
